I generally coach online at the moment. We all had a number of lessons that came out of Covid, and the big lesson to me was that actually coaching online works really well. In fact, I think most of the time it works better than face to face. It’s still one to one, whether it’s just you, or it can be one to one or one with more, like with a team. But I find it works really well because there’s less of an introductory process. You can get down to business quickly and effectively, and there’s no reason at all why being online doesn’t deliver exactly the same effect with regard to a narrowing of focus on the things that really matter and are going to make a difference to the business.

So now, I almost exclusively coach online. However, we do do the 90-day planning sessions face to face. It’s a great opportunity to catch up with clients on a face-to-face basis, and it’s a great opportunity for them to come together and discuss things. In fact, the majority of my clients say the best part of 90-day planning is having the conversations with other businesses. And I think that’s an important part of the overall. But the routine, those incremental steps forward, they can be done just as well online.
