I think one of the most valuable things we’ve got from Matthew and Action Coach is having someone who, even though they’ve not worked in our industry or necessarily got a detailed understanding of childcare in our context, definitely understands the breadth of problems, challenges, and issues that we face.
They not only have the answers but also have the ability to coax out of us some of the solutions that are perhaps a bit latent or under the surface, ones we’ve not really been able to consciously discover ourselves.
It’s been incredible, that ability to realise things—to have that “aha” moment, that penny dropping. It isn’t always some brand-new, sparkly thing. In fact, usually, it’s something we’ve known all along but just haven’t been able to put our finger on. That has probably been one of the most valuable things that Matthew has brought to us in our journey of business.
